Moomaw Residence featured on Green Buildings Open House Tour

Coldham&Hartman - designed home a highlight

October 3, 2007: NESEA's 2007 Green Buildings Open House Tour (part of the ASES National Solar Tour) will take place this weekend, October 6th, as hundreds of buildings around the Northeast open their doors to the public to show off the latest in green building techniques and technologies.

Featured prominently in this year's tour will be the home of Bill and Margot Moomaw in Williamstown, MA. Designed with Coldham&Hartman Architects to generate as much energy in a year as it uses, the home hosts an array of ecologically intelligent strategies and systems.

At an Open House Tour kick off evening at the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield, Bill Moomaw, PhD, will speak Friday night on "Living Deliberately in the 21st Century". 5:30pm. $10 suggested donation.

See here for more details of the building on our site.
